Pedro joined the Bluespark team in 2011 after five years of working for a Drupal development company in Spain, where he became an expert in module programming, site building, and performance optimizations.

A Drupal devotee, Pedro has attended just about every European DrupalCon (the annual convention for Drupal professionals) since 2003. In 2010, he made the trip to San Francisco, California for DrupalCon U.S. That’s where he first met Bluespark founder Michael Tucker.

For Pedro, working for Bluespark was an appealing next-step; he was very attracted to Bluespark’s tech-forward systems, on-trend workflows and processes, and progressive culture. “I was excited to hear about how Bluespark was doing things,” says Pedro. “There was a great learning opportunity before me, and I decided to go for it.”

Working remotely and with such an internationally diverse team is a real thrill for Pedro, who lives just minutes from the beach in Cadiz, Spain. He’s called Cadiz home since graduating from the University of Cadiz in 2003 with a degree in computer science and software engineering. Before that, Pedro was programming websites while he was still in high school.

Pedro is also an amateur photographer, and sets out most weekends with his Canon 450D SLR hanging around his neck. He also likes to hang out with his friends and spend time with his Rat Terrier, “Kiko.”
