Siebel Scholars

Siebel Scholars features a vibrant community, multiple levels of editorial control, newsletters, rss feeds, events, and a user generated content library in addition to many other rich features. This site was three separate sites (mobile, community, and public) when we assumed responsibility for the project, and we conducted a process that combined the sites into a single Drupal instance. Drupal's powerful roles and permissions system can easily allow site administrators to deliver site content appropriately to multiple audiences (admins, content editors, students, public/anonymous) and across either web or mobile browsers, so there was no business need for separate sites. Combining them into one also greatly simplified site maintenance.
